

Another successful Stretch & Technique!
2016 was the third year of our Stretch & Technique course, which runs weekly on a Tuesday for an hour. The course is optional, and open to girls aged 7 and up, and some selected 5-6 year olds. Each week, we have a different class focus ranging from legs and body work, to syllabus execution and competition etiquette. The participants are also split into three graded stretch groups, in which they have the opportunity to progress throughout the term. This allows teachers to tail


Stretching past the Syllabus
At Erskine Park Physie, we don't only teach the Physie Syllabus, but also a variety of movement strategies to address both health and skill related components of fitness. Our Stretch & Technique course for 2015 has come to an end as we now start to focus on competition readiness for Term 3. Western Zone Techniques Workshop
Today, 11 of our Junior members, along with our 3 teachers attended the Western Zone Techniques Workshop with other girls from clubs in the zone. During this free, fun-filled day, girls experienced a number of sessions on standing/marching, arm positions, legs/foot work, body work, floor work and age group specific syllabus.
